Mr. Potato Head was a hit!
The slinky too!
The chocolate bunny was a mystery at first - until sampled.
Now all I hear is "Mommy, I LIKE chocolate!"
Now all I hear is "Mommy, I LIKE chocolate!"
The best part of the morning for Samuel was reading the Guitar Center circular with Daddy and looking at all the drums. The more cymbals, the better!
The best part of the morning for Mommy was reading the Easter story to my son and having his full attention. I actually got a bit teary eyed as we snuggled on the couch under the blankets. Although he cannot fully understand the impact of the cross of Jesus Christ right now, I know that someday he will. What a wonderful Easter morning!

Samuel - did you know Mr.Dave has his own cymbals? When we move closer to you, and you bring your mommy and sister to visit, he'll let you play them!
haha i like chocolate too! it's funny, not knowing what an easter bunny is isn't even something that would ever cross our minds! but to a two year old, it just might be one of his greatest discoveries so far!
Chocolate and Mr. Potato heads are hits at our house right now too :) We didn't do canday Easter morning, but somehow she ended up with enough of it by the end of the day anyway. I had snuck one piece in the afternoon from the stash where I hid all her candy on top of the fridge. She came in a minute later and immediately said "Mommy - I think you smell like chocolate!"
Gotta love mr. potato head. We actually don't have one...I can't believe it..out of all the toys we have! This has inspired me to get one, or ask for one for A's birthday..I think she would love it. Samuel looks so cute and happy!
Glad you had a wonderful Easter! Sam loves chocolate just like his Uncle Ken :) I love seeing Sam's pictures. He's getting so BIG! We love you guys.
