Bribing my child was just about the only way to get the haircut finished. After 30 minutes of being strapped to his booster seat while watching Little Einsteins was all he could bear. I chopped as fast as I could (a little hair then a little finger - ouch). He began his little "all done chant" that I often hear usually at the end of a meal. It goes something like this... "All done, all done, all DONE, DONE, DONE!!!" (Repeat over and over in ever-increasing volume.) So I promised him an ice cream cone and it worked like a charm. Mission completion!

Haircuts and Ice Cream

Yeah for a successful haircut...maybe you should come work your magic over here with Kyle....he is in dire need of a haircut...it is looking a little bushy these days. But, oh the energy it takes to keep him still long enough!!
I think I need to do that with Ava. She won't even let me comb her hair...that's why it's always a mess! :)
He looks great! I wish they would give ice cream cones out when I get my hair cut! Maybe I should try the I'm done chant....
I may have to try the ice cream thing with Judah because truly, to cut his hair is torture.
